GIFTS-IN-KIND

Victim Services of Windsor & Essex County greatly appreciates the generosity of gift-in-kind from individuals, corporations and our community.

Your company can make a difference by providing gift certificates, products or services to our Annual Golf Tournament.  Your gifts-in-kind help us raise funds and many auction items are tax deductible.

We welcome vouchers or tickets for family get aways, sports events, entertainment and theatre tickets, gift baskets & dining certificates.

SPONSOR A CHILDREN’S KIT

When assisting the police at the scene of a crime or tragedy, children are often present.  We provide children of various age groups with different items from our children’s kit; colouring books, teddy bears etc…  If you would like to make a financial donation to replenish our children’s kits please contact us either by telephone 519-723-2711 or email admin@vswec.ca.

PRACTICAL RESOURCES FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND THEIR CHILDREN

When we are assisting victims of domestic violence and their children we often encounter the necessity for practical assistance.  We advocate and liaise with all community agencies to assist Domestic Violence victims, utilizing all resources.  In the midst of a crisis when a woman is leaving the abusive relationship with her children she may face various obstacles.

Wish List to assist victims of domestic violence and their children:

• Grocery gift cards to purchase food.
• Clothing store gift cards to help purchase clothes and other items that may have been left behind when leaving the home.
• Gas gift cards
• Gift cards to stores to assist in the purchasing of safety items for the victims home (locks, alarms, etc…).
