UNITED WAY DESIGNATIONS

You may direct all or part of your United Way donation to Victim Services of Windsor & Essex County.  Designated giving is only available through United Way workplace campaigns using one of the following options:

Pledge form: When you complete a United Way pledge form, you must choose option 3 entitled “to another Registered Charity” You will need: the full name of the charity, charitable registration number and mailing address.

EMPLOYEE VOLUNTEER GRANT PROGRAM

Many of the communities in our area recognize employees and retirees for the good work they do in their personal time, by volunteering in their communities.  These companies will make a donation to a charity when one of their employees or retirees completes a certain number of volunteer hours with a charitable organization.  Contact your human resources department to find out if your company has this program in place, they will have a form for you to fill out and submit.

Corporate Social Events

Your company can integrate their support of Victim Services of Windsor & Essex County into its corporate culture by adding a fundraising element to employee social events.  Employees will feel engaged and proud of their companies support to Victim Services of Windsor & Essex County.  Examples of fundraising events include: golf tournaments, dress down days and other social events.

Sponsorship

Grow your company’s reputation by demonstrating social responsibility linked to a highly recognized charity.  Victim Services of Windsor & Essex County hosts an annual golf tournament which is open to sponsorship.  There are a variety of levels of sponsorship; we can also work with your company to create tailor-made packages to suit marketing objectives and promotional goals.
